These fudgy brownies come together so quickly and are perfect for a midnight snack or to share with fellow Stays! Felix made them in a vlog and I knew I had to recreate them at home. I made a few tweaks according to my own taste, but they’re notated below so you can follow his exact recipe from the video as well!
Stray Kids Felix’s Brownie Recipe
These quick and easy brownies are inspired by Stray Kids Felix's recipe he showed in a vlog. I noted a few personal modifications, but you can find Felix's exact recipe below for you to make at home for a Stray Kids listening party or just a delicious dessert!
Ingredients
Bowl 1
- 1 stick melted butter
- 30 g cocoa powder (about ¼ cup)
- 100 g brown sugar (about ½ cup)
- 100 g caster sugar (about ½ cup)
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon instant espresso powder
- 2 eggs
Bowl 2
- 100 g all purpose flour (about ¾ cup)
- 200 g bread flour (about ¼ cup)
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- 1 pinch salt plus more for sprinkling if you want
- 1 drizzle milk optional (a Joelle modification)
Finally, chocolate!
- 150 g chocolate melted, (about 1 cup, but Felix used Hershey bars!)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C/ 350°F.
- Combine all bowl 1 ingredients in a medium mixing bowl. I didn't have instant espresso powder on hand so I used 2 shots of brewed expresso and it worked great and added moisture to my brownies.
- Combine all bowl 2 ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
- Pour the contents of bowl 2 into bowl 1 and mix until combined.
- Pour in melted chocolate. Don't overmix – it's okay if there are some small clumps!
- Bake for 20-25 minutes.
- If you like extra moist brownies, pour a little bit of milk over them right when they come out of the oven and let it cool. The milk will absorb into the brownies and make them extra fudgy! If you like, you can also sprinkle some sea salt on top if you like salty and sweet desserts.
- Cut, serve, and enjoy!
